Our Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) accredited Veterinary Hospital offers a 24/7 service, outstanding clinical facilities, and a full team of highly skilled and dedicated vets and nurses. Our hospital provides consultations, surgical procedures and a full inpatient team simultaneously allowing us to meet all of your pets’ needs. We also have dedicated separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, and a safe space for exotic species and their referral service.
Highcroft Veterinary Hospital is open seven days a week with weekday routine appointments until 8pm. Our service is available to all Highcroft clients for bookings. When fully booked, we also offer emergency on the day appointments which are managed by our inpatient team to further meet the requirements of Bristol’s pets.
Highcroft Veterinary Hospital is one of a very small number of practices in the UK that hold Gold Awards for both cats and rabbits.
Here at Highcroft Veterinary Hospital, we are very proud to hold the Gold Cat Friendly Clinic Award International Cat Care and are currently going for gold! Since taking over the whole site, we now have our dedicated cat consulting area in addition to feline-friendly hospitalisation ward and cages, and specialist cat equipment,find out more about this status here.
Highcroft Veterinary Hospital in Whitchurch is a Gold accredited “Rabbit Friendly Practice”, an award only given out to a handful of practices throughout the entire UK by the RWAF, find out more about this status here.
We are also a recognised training centre for both vets and nurses. This helps many veterinary schools in the UK with their undergraduate and postgraduate training.
At Highcroft Exotic Vets, our team of dedicated vets and nurses understand that exotic pets require specialised care and attention. We are proud to be a leading veterinary clinical, and an RWAF gold standard practice, providing exceptional medical services for a wide range of exotic animals. We believe that every exotic pet deserves personalised care. Our team of clinicians has extensive expertise in treating a variety of exotic species including rabbits, rodents and other exotic mammals, birds, reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians and fish, from both domestic, zoological and wildlife collections.
