Practice: Longwell Green
After graduating from University Complutense of Madrid, Spain (UCM) in 2015, Iris moved to Glasgow to undertake a Masters in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law at the University of Glasgow. During this time she was an active welfare advisor at one of the main Spanish/European NGO’s working for animal welfare (A.N.D.A- Eurogroup for Animals). She then moved to Southampton and worked for a busy small animal practice before joining Highcroft Veterinary Group in 2018.
Iris has a particular interest in feline internal medicine and pathology and intends to pursue further training in this area in the future.
When she’s not travelling, she spends most of her time practicing yoga. She is also a vivacious reader and is very passionate about all aspects of animal welfare and human-animal interactions.
